There are places in the world where an ordinary angler becomes an explorer. Northern Madagascar and the untouched Nosy Mitsio Archipelago are exactly that kind of place. This is a region where mass tourism doesn't exist, and beneath the surface, the raw power of the ocean still reigns.

Prepare for an expedition that combines uncompromising sport fishing with a complete escape from civilization.

Our base will be our beachfront fishing camp on a pristine tropical beach, where you'll stay in traditional bungalows just a few steps from the ocean. No resorts, no crowds—just you, our team, authentic local cuisine, and an endless horizon filled with predators.

In these waters, we'll target the legendary Giant Trevally (GT), the brutally powerful Dogtooth Tuna, the lightning-fast Yellowfin Tuna, as well as Wahoo, Sailfish, Marlins, Barracudas, and hard-fighting Snappers. Every cast could lead to the battle you've been waiting for your entire life.

Day 1 – Arrival

Welcome at Nosy Be airport and transfer to Nosy Komba island. Accommodation at Veronika Resort, welcome dinner, and preparation for the fishing mission.

Day 2 – Into the Wild

After breakfast we set off by boat to the far north, to the isolated Nosy Mitsio archipelago – a region where civilization ends and the true fishing expedition begins. Already during the voyage we cast our rods and enter waters full of predators. On arrival we settle into our fishing camp in the middle of pristine nature.

Days 3–6 – Fishing Frenzy (Nosy Mitsio)

Five days full of adrenaline. Popping, jigging, and trolling in top locations. We fish on reefs, drop-offs, and open waters. Evenings belong to grilled fish, cold beer, and discussions about the day’s biggest catches right under the stars.

Day 7 – Return to Veronika Resort

The last morning casts, a farewell to Mitsio, and the move back to Nosy Komba to Veronika Resort. Well-deserved relaxation and recovery.

Day 8 – Departure to Europe

The last tropical breakfast and transfer to the airport.

The heart of the whole expedition will be our private base on the pristine Nosy Mitsio archipelago. Traditional bungalows built just a few steps from the turquoise sea, maximum privacy, minimal contact with civilization, and the atmosphere of true island life.

After returning from the sea, every evening awaits you with quality fresh food, tropical fruit, cold drinks, and a well-deserved rest at sunset.
